Our people make it real.</strong></p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="820">If you’re a challenger in spirit and a champion in action — join us.</p></div><h2><strong>Why this role exists:</strong></h2> <p>We are looking for a C-level leader who can set the strategic vision, build the frameworks for scale, and be a genuine business partner to the leadership team.&nbsp;The CLO will own the full legal and regulatory agenda: from licensing strategy and corporate structure to M&amp;A, IP, and compliance. You will act as GR8 Tech's primary legal interface with the managing company and other group assets. This is an opportunity to build a legal function designed for the next phase of an ambitious, fast-moving international business.</p> <h2><strong>What you’ll drive:</strong></h2> <p><strong>Strategy &amp; Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define and execute the legal function's multi-year strategy, aligned to company growth and expansion goals.</li> <li>Serve as the primary legal advisor to the board.</li> <li>Build a high-performing legal team — set clear KPIs and metrics, develop talent, and create a culture of accountability and excellence.</li> <li>Represent GR8 Tech's legal interests at the group level.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Corporate Structure &amp; M&amp;A</strong></p> <ul> <li>Drive the evolution of corporate structure — optimising for regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic flexibility.</li> <li>Lead or support M&amp;A activity: due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and integration from a legal perspective.</li> <li>Manage group-level legal entities, intercompany arrangements, and cross-border legal risk.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Commercial, Contracts &amp; IP</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee contract management across the business — drive standardisation, automation, and reduction of cycle times without sacrificing quality.</li> <li>Protect and develop the company's intellectual property portfolio: trademarks, licensing agreements, technology rights.</li> <li>Provide pragmatic legal support to commercial teams, balancing risk management with speed of execution.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Regulatory &amp; Licensing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the company's global licensing strategy — identify opportunities, manage applications, and maintain existing licences across multiple regulated jurisdictions.</li> <li>Monitor regulatory developments across target markets; translate risk and opportunity into clear, actionable positions.</li> <li>Lead the company's relationship with regulators, ensuring GR8 Tech is seen as a credible and cooperative regulated entity.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compliance, AML &amp; Risk</strong></p> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain a comprehensive legal risk dashboard — identify, manage, and mitigate key risks across the business.</li> <li>Own KYC/KYB processes from a legal and regulatory standpoint; lead improvements for efficiency and compliance quality.</li> <li>Drive AML, data protection, and responsible gambling compliance frameworks in line with applicable law and best practice.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Operational Efficiency &amp; Innovation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the adoption of legal technology and AI tools to automate routine work and increase the function's overall output and quality.</li> <li>Build a legal function metrics framework — measuring what matters and demonstrating value to the business.</li> <li>Optimise external legal spend: manage relationships with outside counsel, ensure cost-efficiency, and reduce dependency on external providers over time.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What makes you a GR8 fit:</strong></h2> <p><strong>Must-have</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of legal experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior leadership role (CLO, General Counsel, etc).</li> <li>Proven background in iGaming, forex, fintech or another high-risk industry.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with multi-jurisdictional licensing and regulatory engagement.</li> <li>Track record of building and leading legal teams: setting structures and processes, developing and managing people.</li> <li>Strong background in contract management and corporate structuring, M&amp;A expertise, tax structuring experience.</li> <li>Fluent in English.</li> <li>Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Resilient, pragmatic, and ready to build for the long term.</li> <li>Comfortable driving change, accelerating processes, and balancing speed with quality and risk management.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with iGaming-specific licensing (offshore and local regulations).</li> <li>Background in tax structuring or cross-border taxation in an international group context.</li> <li>Familiarity with AML, KYC/KYB frameworks, and player protection regulation.</li> <li>Exposure to AI/legal tech adoption within a legal function.</li> <li>Russian/Ukrainian language skills.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h2 data-renderer-start-pos="906"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Why you’ll love working here:&nbsp;</strong></h2> <p data-renderer-start-pos="958"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Benefits Cafeteria</strong> — annual budget you allocate to:</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1011">Sports • Medical • Mental health • Home office • Languages.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1072"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Work-life &amp;
