Chief Surveyor

HanmiGlobal Saudi is looking for an experienced Chief Surveyor to lead and oversee all surveying activities across our construction projects. The Chief Surveyor will ensure accurate and timely surveying data to support project planning, design, and execution, ensuring that all work complies with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the surveying team in conducting all land and construction conducts surveys in infrastructure projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise surveying tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance on surveying methods, procedures, and equipment usage.
• Review and validate survey data, drawings, and reports for compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate survey data into project workflows.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety procedures.
• Manage survey equipment maintenance and calibration schedules.
• Report on project progress, survey findings, and any issues requiring resolution.
• Train and mentor junior surveyors and support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction and land surveying with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of surveying instruments, techniques, and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian surveying standards and regulations is an advantage.
• Working background in PMC/PMO, Consultant Companies.
