<div>Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Residential Social Care Worker for its client in Westmeath. The role supports young people through person‑centred, outcome‑focused care, working in partnership with families and professionals. Salary ranges from €37,440 to €41,184.</div>

<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver high quality care and assistance to residents as per their Individual care plans and instructions by the Centre Management.</li>
<li>To ensure that the main principles of the National Standards of Residential Child Care (dignity, privacy, choice, safety, realising potential and equality and diversity) are reflected within the service provided.</li>
<li>To advise the Social Care Manager of any changes in the young people’s needs</li>
<li>To support young people in accessing information, in an appropriate format, allowing them to make informed choices.</li>
<li>To be responsible for ensuring that the young people’s care plans and placement plans are implemented through practice.</li>
<li>To support young people and staff to be aware of all aspects of safety.</li>
<li>To liaise with Social Care Manager, Deputy Social Care Manager, Social Care Leader and staff on issues relating to the centre.</li>
<li>To set and demonstrate good standards of work practice.</li>
<li>To adhere and implement policies and procedures of the company.</li>
<li>To attend training as required and pertinent to the centre.</li>
<li>To be accountable for your own actions and personal and professional development.</li>
<li>To attend and partake in professional supervision.</li>
<li>To work positively with family members and other professionals.</li>
<li>Any other duties as reasonably requested by your line manager or senior manager relevant to the key responsibilities of the post</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum Level 7, preferably in Applied Social Care</li>
<li>OR</li>
<li>A minimum Level 7 in Nursing, Psychology, Teaching, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Social Work, Social Sciences or Youth and Community Work are qualifications that will also be considered</li>
<li>A thorough knowledge of the principles and practice of social care</li>
<li>Full Driving License</li>
<li>Currently undertaking or holding a CORU-recognised Social Care Qualification </li>
</ul>
