China - Testing Engineer

<p>To reinvent an industry, you have to build the best team. <strong>Join Formlabs</strong> if you want to bring ground-breaking professional 3D printers to the desktop of every designer, engineer, researcher, and artist in the world.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <p>NPI</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Boston office, and CM for the CM projects to ensure all the test hardware, software, and data platform work implemented in the CM successfully</li> <li>Review, guide, and approve the JDM partner’s test hardware and software. Ensure all the data from JDM are well integrated into Formlabs data infrastructure.</li> <li>Analyze data to identify the problem and drive the problem-solving across Formlabs Boston offices, APAC office, and CM/JDM,&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>MP&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Review and approve test-related ECOs and ensure proper implementation at CMs</li> <li>Maintain all test-related hardware (e.g. Jigs and Fixtures) and computers. Manage CM maintenance schedules for test hardware</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Monitor and report test yields across all Formlabs manufacturing lines</li> <li>Assist in developing and updating test documents and standard operating procedures</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work to reduce test cycle times via process improvement and test optimization.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to enhance testing methodologies, tools, and process to optimize product quality</li> </ul> <p>Troubleshoot</p> <ul> <li>Write queries to help support manufacturing yield dashboards, ad-hoc data analysis, and other data analysis work supporting PM and Manufacturing Engineer</li> <li>Create and maintain test documentation (procedures, processes, tools, etc) and work with the Formlabs Factory Software team to debug and troubleshoot new tests.</li> <li>Execute preliminary steps of a root cause analysis and report findings when new yield issues arise.</li> </ul> <p>Others</p> <ul> <li>Write test scripts to support factory and CTL(China Test Lab) testing needs</li> <li>Contribute to the FSW strategy of where and how we should integrate with our production lines</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/ computer science/data science or equivalent with 5+ years experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong programming skills with SQL and Python and experience in developing scripts and tools</li> <li>Experience in Linux (Ubuntu)</li> <li>Prior experience working with electromechanical products, consumer products, or industrial automation is a must</li> <li>Extensive experience working as the direct interface to contract manufacturers with new product introductions is required</li> <li>Self-motivated, willing to change the status quo, and being able to work with minimal supervision</li> <li>Detail-oriented&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong English technical communication and organizational skills</li> <li>Overseas degree is a big plus</li> <li>Travel up to 40% of the time</li> </ul>
