<h3>OVERVIEW</h3>
<p>Guerrilla is looking for a Technical Cinematic Animator to join our Cinematics Team. In this role, you will act as the technical lynchpin between cinematic design, animation, and engine integration—ensuring cinematic content is delivered, assembled, and optimized within the Decima engine. From tool development to vendor delivery integration, you’ll support and shape the systems that power Guerrilla’s world-class storytelling.</p>

<h3>OUR CINEMATICS TEAM</h3>
<p>The Cinematics Team at Guerrilla is a multidisciplinary group dedicated to delivering compelling real-time scripted sequences. We collaborate closely with Narrative, Animation, Art, and Design teams to craft emotionally resonant, technically impressive cinematic experiences that complement our rich gameplay. With evolving pipelines and increasingly ambitious sequences, the Cinematics Team values strong technical partners who can help scale our tools and workflows for future projects.</p>
<h3>WHAT YOU WILL DO</h3>
<ul>
<li>Support cinematic content production<span data-contrast="auto"> by integrating animation data and cameras into the Decima engine.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Collaborate with cinematic animators, sequence designers, and narrative designers<span data-contrast="auto"> to ensure seamless handoff and technical viability.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Manage and integrate vendor deliveries<span data-contrast="auto">, ensuring technical compliance, data integrity, and structured file organization.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Maintain and evolve our <span data-contrast="auto">cinematics pipeline</span><span data-contrast="auto">, supporting sequence reviews, shot structures, and in-engine playback fidelity.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Provide <span data-contrast="auto">technical support</span><span data-contrast="auto"> for tools, data flow, and production tracking (via JIRA and Flow/Shotgrid).</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Drive <span data-contrast="auto">tools development</span><span data-contrast="auto"> and </span><span data-contrast="auto">Python scripting</span><span data-contrast="auto"> to automate and optimize repetitive workflows within Maya and internal toolsets.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Liaise with Technical Animation, Rigging, and Engine teams to ensure sequences are implemented with performance and scalability in mind.<span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<h3>WHO YOU ARE</h3>
<ul>
<li>A technically-minded creative with <span data-contrast="auto">a background in animation, cinematics, or technical art</span><span data-contrast="auto"> in game development or animation production.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Proficient in Maya<span data-contrast="auto">, with hands-on experience working with animation, cameras, and assets for real-time game cinematics.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Comfortable writing and maintaining <span data-contrast="auto">Python scripts</span><span data-contrast="auto"> for pipeline tools, automation, and batch processing.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Experienced with <span data-contrast="auto">node-based, sequence-driven engines</span><span data-contrast="auto"> such </span><span data-contrast="auto">Unreal Engine (Sequencer, Blueprints)</span><span data-contrast="auto">, or similar engines that support real-time cinematic implementation and logic.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false}"> </span></li>
<li>Familiar with <span data-contrast="auto">JIRA</span><span data-contrast="auto">, </span><span data-contrast="auto">Flow (Shotgrid)</span><span data-contrast="auto"> production tracking systems and workflows.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false}"> </span></li>
<li>Able to troubleshoot cross-discipline issues spanning animation data, file structures, and asset dependencies.<span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false}"> </span></li>
<li>Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to clearly document tools, processes, and handoff instructions.<span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false}"> </span></li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Previous experience in a <span data-contrast="auto">vendor-facing</span><span data-contrast="auto"> or </span><span data-contrast="auto">outsourcing integration</span><span data-contrast="auto"> role.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Familiarity with <span data-contrast="auto">MotionBuilder</span><span data-contrast="auto"> or other mocap tools.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Experience supporting cinematic pipelines in <span data-contrast="auto">film, TV, or real-time game development</span><span data-contrast="auto">.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li>Understanding of <span data-contrast="auto">cinematic composition, pacing, and storytelling</span><span data-contrast="auto">, even if not your primary focus.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
