Join Our Team: Senior Civil Engineer – Design/Build Construction Firm
REDCOM, LLC, an award-winning Design/Build Construction firm, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Civil Engineering Department. We are a thriving team of 50 professionals located in a state-of-the-art facility just steps from downtown Westfield and the NYC train station.

What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving successful project outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Client Relations: Foster strong, professional relationships with clients.
- Site Plan Design: Lead the design and development of comprehensive site plans, including all associated report preparation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet state, municipal, and county guidelines and agency requirements.
- Approval Process Management: Facilitate the approval process across multiple agencies, including engineering cost estimates and coordination with outside design professionals.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior engineers, guiding them through site plan design and approval processes.
- Collaborative Communication: Coordinate with land use attorneys, clients, and municipal and state engineering teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 10+ years in land development, civil site plans, and drainage design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and drainage software (e.g., HydroCAD).
- Leadership Ability: A passion for mentoring and developing younger engineers.
- Client-Facing Skills: Ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders and navigate complex approval processes.
- Licensing: NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong background in drainage and hydrology design.
- Experience testifying before Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Adjustment.
