Our people-first culture and collaborative team are what drive our success as a top 500 engineering firm and have earned us a spot on Zweig's list of <strong>“Best Places to Work.</strong>” Join our Land Development group as a Civil Site Development Engineer and be part of a legacy that builds better futures.</p> <h4>&nbsp;</h4> <h4>THE ROLE</h4> <p>The Civil Site-Development Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for the engineering design and construction oversight of site-specific infrastructure projects such as residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use developments. It will be the primary responsibility to take the overall site development plan and translate it into detailed engineering drawings needed for construction. During the construction phase, the engineer will provide oversight and support the implementation of the plans. These responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Work with the client and project team to interpret the overall site development plan and translate it into detailed engineering drawings.</li> <li>Manage project tasks, including technical report writing and coordination with a&nbsp;multidisciplinary team, architects, and clients.</li> <li>Assess the suitability of the site for development.</li> <li>Design and plan necessary infrastructure such as roads, utilities, drainage systems, and grading.</li> <li>Navigate regulatory requirements and obtain necessary permitting to meet project requirements.</li> <li>Oversee the development engineering design process from conception to completion.</li> <li>Develop cost estimates and prepare and manage budgets.</li> <li>Provide construction administration services during the construction phase of the project.</li> <li>Works with Operations Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 95, 190);"><strong><em>“As employee-owners, we don’t just work here, we grow here. Our culture empowers every team member to find success—professionally and financially—while building something greater than themselves.”</em> </strong>– Arian Bloomfield, President/CEO&nbsp;</span></p> <hr> <h4>&nbsp;</h4> <h4>YOUR STRENGTHS</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or equivalent ABET-accredited engineering program</li> <li>Minimum of 4+ years of demonstrated experience with site development engineering project design work. Site-civil engineering design experience for architectural clients is preferred.</li> <li>At least 2+ years of project management experience with civil engineering design projects, leading complex teams and projects.</li> <li>Engineer-In-Training (EIT) professional designation required</li> <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or able to obtain after-hire</li> <li>Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar engineering design software as it pertains to &nbsp;roadway, utilities, and grading design</li> <li>Effective communicator both written and verbal</li> <li>Valid driver’s license and insurable record for travel</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h4>WHO WE ARE</h4> <p>At Morrison-Maierle, we’re more than engineers, surveyors, planners, and scientists—we’re community builders.
