The Civil Engineer will support and at times lead the planning and design of airport projects for clients across a spectrum of design work from facilities, terminals, runways, navigation, and airspace studies to water, gas, and power design and analysis.</p> <p>These responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Expertly collaborates with design teams, clients and regulatory agencies to grasp project vision.</li> <li>Leverage design software to create project designs, draft plans, drawings, and models according to project specifications.</li> <li>Applies FAA and airport safety knowledge in design work.</li> <li>Ensures precision and project safety through meticulous design.</li> <li>Tackles design challenges creatively, resolving complex problems.</li> <li>Performs technical writing for Request for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums.</li> <li>Applies construction knowledge to oversee builds.</li> <li>Support project managers with construction administration tasks.</li> <li>Leads project management tasks and cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Completes project tasks from start to finish, supporting project and client services managers.</li> <li>Analyze facilities for system deficiencies regarding compliance with local, state, and federal standards and regulations.
