<p>Seeking a Civil Engineering project leader to champion airport design projects—including landside, airside upgrades, rehabilitation, expansions, and construction administration for general aviation to commercial airfields in our local and surrounding communities.</p>

<h4>THE ROLE</h4>
<p>The Civil Engineer will thrive with a variety of engineering project design opportunities available. The Civil Engineer will support and at times lead the planning and design of airport projects for clients across a spectrum of design work from facilities, terminals, runways, navigation, and airspace studies to water, gas, and power design and analysis.</p>
<p>These responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Expertly collaborates with design teams, clients and regulatory agencies to grasp project vision.</li>
<li>Leverage design software to create project designs, draft plans, drawings, and models according to project specifications.</li>
<li>Applies FAA and airport safety knowledge in design work.</li>
<li>Ensures precision and project safety through meticulous design.</li>
<li>Tackles design challenges creatively, resolving complex problems.</li>
<li>Performs technical writing for Request for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums.</li>
<li>Applies construction knowledge to oversee builds.</li>
<li>Support project managers with construction administration tasks.</li>
<li>Leads project management tasks and cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Completes project tasks from start to finish, supporting project and client services managers.</li>
<li>Analyze facilities for system deficiencies regarding compliance with local, state, and federal standards and regulations. Provide improvement alternatives to meet compliance with such regulations.</li>
<li>Provide job site support and observation and monitor construction progress.</li>

<h4>YOUR STRENGTHS</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering or equivalent ABET-accredited engineering program</li>
<li>Engineer-In-Training (EIT) professional designation required</li>
<li>Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or willing to obtain after-hire</li>
<li>Minimum 4+ years of airport airfield, landside/airside design and construction experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of FAA regulations and airport safety preferred</li>
<li>Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D and Blue Beam</li>
<li>Project engineering experience desired</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Growth mindset for client acquisition</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and insurable record for travel</li>
