font-size: 10pt;"><br></span></li> </ul></div><p><strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Job Description:</span></strong></p> <p>Responsible for performing design engineering and associated tasks for government projects under the guidance of a Project Manager. &nbsp;This position involves frequent contact with government clients to assist with the day-to-day engineering operations of local agencies. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Accountability and Duties:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Performs professional engineering and design work for government clients.</li> <li>Prepares reports, plans, specifications, construction schedules and permits for transportation, water/wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.</li> <li>Obtains and evaluates pertinent field data for proposed construction projects.</li> <li>Prepares engineer’s opinion of probable cost and engineering design calculations.</li> <li>Assists with development plan reviews for compliance with local ordinances.</li> <li>Maintains a good relationship with clients.</li> <li>Prepares permit applications for capital projects.</li> <li>Assists in preparation of proposals for engineering services.</li> <li>Mentors and assists with training Staff Engineers.</li> <li>Delegates specific project assignments to Staff Engineers.</li> <li>Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.</li> <li>Shares responsibility for project schedules and timely completion of projects.</li> <li>Participates in business development activities.&nbsp;</li> <li>Professionally represents the firm at client meetings/hearings.</li> <li>Assists with the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, billing and A/R.</li> <li>Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Registered professional engineer with five years design experience in government capital projects, including transportation, water/wastewater and stormwater improvements.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>#LI-JK1</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range </div><div class="pay-range"><span>$93,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$125,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
