In this role, this individual will gain hands-on experience working on a wide variety of projects- including mining sites, power generation (wind, solar, and power plants), industrial/commercial/and residential developments, and more. This civil engineer will work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to mentorship and supporting long-term career growth.</p> <p><strong>Your Responsibilities as a Geotechnical Engineer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform detailed and conceptual civil engineering design, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility planning.</li> <li>Prepare and review design plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports.</li> <li>Assist the Project Manager with overall project coordination, including scheduling, budgeting, and task assignments.</li> <li>Track project progress, manage deliverables, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.</li> <li>Support the development of proposals, scope documents, and client presentations.</li> <li>Assist in the permit application and approval process, coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies.</li> <li>Participate in client and contractor meetings, documenting action items and facilitating follow-up.</li> <li>Contribute to internal project management systems by maintaining accurate records, budgets, and progress reports.</li> <li>Actively pursue opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>EIT required, PE preferred.</li> <li>5+ years of related experience.</li> <li>Proficiency with MS Office suite, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD preferred.
