About the role

Overview

The primary purpose of the position is to maintain assigned task and ensure production goals are met and standards are being followed on their tables. Stack, fold, count, bulk, load/unload, label, and package cleanroom wiper products while meeting quality goals in a safe work environment in the Cleanroom area.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Others may be assigned.

· Meets regular and reliable work-site attendance requirements in order to perform the job and meet productivity standards.

· Calculates and communicates table productivity hourly, to ensure goals are being meet.

· Motivates the table associates in a positive manner to reach production goals.

· Inspects fabric, cut wipers, garments, bags and other packaging items, as they are used, for conformance to specification.

· Notifies Cleanroom Inside Lead of any non-conformance.

· Develops knowledge of cleanroom protocol and adheres to the cleanliness requirements of the cleanroom processes.

· Sorts, stacks, counts, and packages dried products according to products code and lot number, in accordance with established quality and productivity standards.

· Reports to shift meeting to go over their tables production numbers for the day.

· Participates in periodic training programs regarding product specifications; quality; operation and maintenance of worker’s safety.

· Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.

· Time Management: Gets more work done in less time than others. Keeps track of where the table is for the hour and values the time by reducing wastes to increase throughput.

· Directs Work: Provides clear direction and accountability to all team members. Provides proper rotation of employees for the different tasks of the table, such as, sealing, stacking… etc. Keeps track of the table’s performance and logs it hourly.

· Approachability: Is easy to approach and talk to. Takes extra time when needed to put other at ease. Has a welcoming feeling about them.

· Being Resilient: Confident under pressure. Quickly bounces back from setbacks and not let them bring you down. Grows from situations and negative experiences.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school or GED education.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.   Work is performed in a Class 10 contained space where the environmental parameter of temperature is strictly controlled. Air delivered to the cleanroom is processed through High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters. Employees must go through a pre-gowning room and gowning room to don and remove cleanroom garments before entering and exiting the cleanroom.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to operate equipment, and to constantly prepare, inspect, and position the finished product. Employee must be able to constantly use hands, fingers, wrist, and arms in repetitive motions. Must be able to constantly squeeze with hands. Employee must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position. This time can vary between sitting or standing depending on the workstation. Employee must be able to move, traverse. Employees will move around the room to different workstations. The Employee must be able to position self (to), move. The employee must occasionally transport and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.   Employees will be cross trained in other areas and must also meet the following requirements: Constantly required to operate equipment, and to constantly prepare, inspect, and position the finished product. Employee must constantly be able to use hands, fingers, wrist, and arms in repetitive motions. Must be constantly able to squeeze with hands. Employee must frequently be able to remain in a stationary position. Employee must be able to move, traverse. Employees will move around the room to different workstations. The Employee must be able to position self (to) move. The employee must constantly transport and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and push/pull/lift up to forty (40) pounds. Employees must be able to constantly bend at the waist in a repetitive motion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.   Work performed by the Cleanroom Table Lead is done inside of a Class 10 cleanroom environment. Due to the critical nature of the work done in the cleanroom and the requirement to maintain a controlled environment, all individuals working inside the cleanroom are required to wear specific cleanroom garments and must refrain from wearing or using certain body/hygiene products to prevent particulate from being released off the wearer’s body. Cleanroom garments are provided by Contec and include the following: steel toed shoes, hairnet, beard net, coveralls, hoods, shoe covers, cleanroom boots, nitrile gloves, and face mask. Personal body and hygiene products that must not be worn includes makeup, body powders, body/hand lotions, hair products, and jewelry of any kind. Because this is a critical manufacturing environment, no accommodations can be made for removing any of these requirements and must be strictly adhered to.
