About the role
A vacancy has arisen for a Semi/Fully Qualified Accountant within our client’s Accountancy Department. Our client is a Corporate Services Provider. This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking to advance their accounting career in a dynamic environment, working across a range of regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assignments in accounting and related matters as required.
- Provide both on-site and off-site support to clients.
- Prepare inter-company debt notes and manage the settlement of current accounts.
- Maintain ledgers and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end accounts.
- Prepare tax computations.
- Draft management accounts and financial statements, including balance sheet checklists.
- Assist auditors with queries and documentation as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (University degree or equivalent) or in the final stages of the ACCA qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated attitude.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Full fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be considered an asset.
