Business Function
Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and Implementation:
Project manage the implementation of agreed mandates through meticulous planning and engagement of relevant stakeholders, executing the plan from pre-sales to post-implementation review.
Work independently to identify and implement practical solutions to problems within defined timelines.
Design and scope technical solutions, considering aspects such as countries and products, file formats and messaging, data security and non-repudiation, data flow, and workflow impacts.
Recommend and implement technical solutions, including documentation, system configurations (TEST and PROD), system development (if any), system testing (TEST and PROD), and roll-out.
Monitor key activities and the migration of transactional flows during the initial production run to ensure utilization, delivery of client's business commitments, and conversion of clients to operating relationships.
Client Engagement and Support:
Manage clients’ inquiries regarding GTS products and services arising out of client implementations.
Continuously manage and support customers to achieve greater user satisfaction.
Provide support to clients post-implementation for technical issues or user activation/usage to ensure utilization.
Deepen relationships with clients post-implementation to defend their business flow/commitments and identify opportunities to increase cross-selling.
Engage clients regularly to understand and resolve operating issues.
Process Improvement and Quality Assurance:
Perform post-implementation reviews to ensure the migration of agreed operating flows to DBS Bank and the quality of the overall implementation.
Provide support on internal process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities.
Support Product and Digital Channel during initiatives/enhancements or new product/service roll-outs to drive commercialization and scale up channel utilization.
At least 3-5 years of banking experiences with GTS experience is preferable.
General knowledge of client’s ERP systems.
Understanding of API, Cloud and Digital Platforms.
Able to produce MIS reports and data analytic insights
Proven project management experience
Reasonable verbal and written communication skills
Operations and customer service experience a plus
Certifications a plus (Certified Treasury Professional, Project Management Institute)
