Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Open a case for every inquiry, including those that can be resolved during the first call or e-mail, as well as inquiries that require substantive research or a response
- Ensure accuracy in processing and responding within service level guidelines
- Assist and resolve retirement plan participant requests and issues
- Obtain account information
- Answer questions
- Execute transactions
- Respond to plan questions
- Process benefit payments
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Zero to Two years of relevant work experience in the retirement planning industry
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with digital data management/filling system is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and use of grammar
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to follow standard procedures
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external clients and other key stakeholders
