Clinical Lab Assistant II--Day Shift

Candidates will be able to utilize their previous experience and degrees in a life science or related field.</p> <p>Under direct and constant supervision of a Laboratory Leads or Clinical Laboratory Scientists, the Clinical Laboratory Assistant II is responsible for:</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assisting the CLS’ and Lab Technicians on the RNA extraction and PCR teams (as needed).</li> <li>Checking inventory and ordering supplies</li> <li>Performing clerical duties</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Medical Laboratory Science</li> <li>Minimum of six months related laboratory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Clinical laboratory experience required, including but not limited to customer service, specimen processing, and laboratory support in a hospital or reference laboratory setting.</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, such as word processing and laboratory information systems.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Strong understanding of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Knowledge of medical terminology required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>Full time position; 40 hrs per week; weekends may be required.</p> <p>Job Types: Full-time, Temporary</p> <p>Pay: $25.00 per hour</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>8 hour shift</li> <li>Monday to Friday</li> <li>Weekends</li> </ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's (Required)</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>*** Similar to the introduction that can precede all job descriptions, an outro can also be formatted for consistency on all posts</em></p> <p><em>*** Semblable à l'introduction qui peut précéder toutes les descriptions de poste, une outro peut également être formatée pour la cohérence sur tous les messages<br></em></p></div>
