Cloud Architect, Mid-Sr

Job Description

We are looking for Engineers with experience designing and building cloud solutions to work with us and our enterprise customers to plan, adopt and operate their infrastructure utilizing Amazon and Azure Web Services.  The ideal candidate will be able to participate in the planning, presentation and delivery of new or existing Cloud Operations.  Most of our customers are medium to large enterprises with existing on-prem solutions and have on-going or new Cloud efforts that include Migration and Hybrid solutions.

 Required Qualifications

• B.S. level technical degree or related experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills

• Highly collaborative and team oriented

• Ability to keep to production schedules and work effectively with colleagues

• Hands-on practitioner

• Experience with integration of AWS services to on-premises infrastructure

• Understanding of networking protocols and network topology

• Understanding of hypervisor/virtualization

• Experience with Linux and Windows administration

• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines

• 2-3 years’ experience with Python/JavaScript

• 2-3 years’ experience with Terraform and/or Cloud Formation

• 3+ years’ experience with AWS (IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, EFS, etc)

• 2+ years experience with AWS Control Tower

• Experience with AWS CLI, AWS SAM and AWS SDK

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Cloud technologies

• Experience with AWS Landing Zone

• Experience with enterprise systems and their deployment

• Experience assessing, optimizing, automating IT service processes

• Experience as full-stack developer
