If you relish the freedom to bring creative, thoughtful solutions to the table that reflect your experience and personality, there's no limit to what you can accomplish here.<br><br></span><strong>What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Work within the Information Security team as a Cloud Information Security Analyst.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Ensure the company's assets—primarily cloud-based—are kept as secure as possible.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Prioritize mitigation activities in collaboration with various stakeholders.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Collaborate closely with engineering, support, and company-wide teams to maintain security and compliance programs.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Provide recommendations to improve the security capabilities of the company’s platform.</span></li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p> <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">6-8 years of experience in a similar role, even if partially meeting the listed requirements below:</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Expertise in:</span> <ul> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Cloud security posture management (AWS/Azure)</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Vulnerability management (risk classification, remediation, false positive analysis)</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Building and maintaining Security Operations Center (SOC) activities</span></li> </ul> </li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Strong skills in incident detection and response, including spotting malicious activity.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Solid knowledge of security tools: SIEM, EDR, DLP, CSPM, CASB, CWPP, IPS/IDS,Threat intelligence, etc.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Comfortable working with Linux and Windows environments.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Understanding of modern infrastructure: Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and their security.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and own initiatives end-to-end.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"><span style="color: #000000;">Creative, risk-aware, and solution-oriented mindset with strong prioritization and autonomy.</span></li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;">Any Information Security Certification (CEH, Security+, OSCP, etc.) is an asset.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em>At AppDirect, we believe that innovation thrives in an environment that houses diversity of excellence, experience and thought.
