Hartsdale Veterinary Hospital is looking for the right veterinarian to step into a partnership role with the opportunity to grow into co-ownership alongside Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP).</p> <p>This role offers the chance to step into leadership, build ownership, and help shape what comes next for a well-established hospital in a highly desirable Westchester County location. VPP provides operational, financial, HR, recruiting, and marketing support so you can focus on clinical excellence and team development.</p> <p>VPP supports more than 190 hospitals nationwide and over 200 doctor partners, including more than 100 first time veterinary owners.</p> <h2><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Clinical Leadership</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Establish and uphold medical standards and practice protocols</li> <li>Guide case management and clinical decision making</li> <li>Ensure high quality patient care and clear client communication</li> <li>Oversee medical record accuracy and charge capture</li> <li>Identify opportunities to expand services and patient care offerings</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Team and Practice Leadership</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Support hiring and onboarding of veterinarians and support staff</li> <li>Mentor associate veterinarians and support team development</li> <li>Contribute to operational strategy and scheduling efficiency</li> <li>Foster a collaborative, team first culture</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Financial Oversight</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Drive revenue growth while maintaining medical excellence</li> <li>Participate in annual planning and performance review</li> <li>Support marketing and community engagement initiatives</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent</li> <li>Active New York veterinary license or ability to obtain</li> <li>3+ years clinical experience preferred</li> <li>Strong leadership and communication skills</li> </ul> <p>We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.</p> <p>If you are ready to lead a hospital and participate as an owner, we welcome the conversation.</p>
