This role centers on <strong data-start="210" data-end="289">regulatory compliance, capital management, and complex lending transactions</strong>. We are looking for a hands-on attorney with deep expertise in <strong data-start="353" data-end="428">Basel III capital requirements, AML/KYC frameworks, and OCC regulations</strong>, as well as experience structuring <strong data-start="464" data-end="517">syndicated loans and secured lending arrangements</strong>. The ideal candidate will bring strong familiarity with <strong data-start="574" data-end="610">interbank transaction frameworks</strong>, combined with practical transactional and compliance capabilities across regulated banking and financial services environments.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating <strong data-start="181" data-end="272">loan documentation, credit agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements</strong> related to syndicated loans and secured lending arrangements.</li> <li>Providing legal guidance on <strong data-start="368" data-end="473">Basel III capital management requirements, AML/KYC compliance obligations, and OCC regulatory matters</strong>.</li> <li>Collaborating with <strong data-start="499" data-end="581">internal stakeholders, compliance teams, risk management, and external counsel</strong> on <strong data-start="585" data-end="661">lending transactions, regulatory initiatives, and interbank transactions</strong>.</li> <li>Managing <strong data-start="677" data-end="743">regulatory, transactional, and compliance-related legal issues</strong> for clients within the <strong data-start="767" data-end="808">banking and financial services sector</strong>.</li> <li data-start="815" data-end="986">Staying ahead of <strong data-start="832" data-end="937">evolving banking regulations, capital adequacy standards, and financial crime compliance requirements</strong> to provide proactive, strategic legal counsel.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul> <li data-start="960" data-end="1062"><strong data-start="960" data-end="972">5+ years</strong> of experience in <strong data-start="990" data-end="1059">commercial banking, financial regulation, or lending transactions</strong>.</li> <li data-start="1066" data-end="1190">Strong knowledge of <strong data-start="1086" data-end="1187">Basel III requirements, AML/KYC frameworks, OCC regulations, and interbank transaction structures</strong>.</li> <li data-start="1194" data-end="1329">Proven track record of advising clients on <strong data-start="1237" data-end="1326">syndicated loans, secured lending arrangements, and regulatory compliance initiatives</strong>.</li> <li data-start="1333" data-end="1412">Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li data-start="1416" data-end="1506"><strong data-start="1416" data-end="1437">Juris Doctor (JD)</strong> degree and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></h3> <ul> <li data-start="1538" data-end="1638">Experience with <strong data-start="1554" data-end="1635">trade finance, receivables, payables, and supply chain or inventory financing</strong>.</li> <li data-start="1642" data-end="1754">Familiarity with <strong data-start="1659" data-end="1753">working with bank regulators and supporting regulatory examinations or remediation efforts</strong>.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation:</strong></h3> <p>The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.&nbsp; Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.</p> <h3><strong>About Axiom:</strong></h3> <p>For over 25 years, Axiom has pioneered the alternative legal services industry, now serving more than 1,500 legal departments globally with our unique blend of world-class legal talent and advanced AI tools, delivering innovative solutions ranging from that combine top-tier talent with cutting-edge technology.
