Our more than 22,000 employees are committed to relentlessly enhancing the fan experience and delighting sports fans globally.&nbsp;</div> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p>Fanatics Betting &amp; Gaming (FBG) is seeking a talented, team-oriented Commercial Counsel with 5+ years of applicable legal experience to join the FBG legal team. This role will support a broad range of commercial matters across the business, including technology and product-related agreements, software and data licensing agreements, vendor and platform partnerships, and other strategic commercial agreements.</p> <p>Reporting to the VP, Legal &amp; Business Affairs, the Commercial Counsel will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, business development &amp; strategic partnerships, and operations, providing practical legal and strategic advice in a fast-moving environment.</p> <p><strong><u>Duties and responsibilities may include:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including: <ul> <li>Content and technology license agreements</li> <li>Data licensing, access and sharing agreements</li> <li>Software, SaaS, cloud services, platform, and technology services agreements</li> <li>Other strategic commercial partnerships, vendor agreements, professional services agreements, and procurement-related contracts</li> </ul> </li> <li>Provide strategic and practical legal advice to business teams on contract structure, negotiation strategy, and risk management.</li> <li>Support the continuous improvement of contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and workflows to promote efficiency and consistency.</li> <li>Assist in managing outside counsel and coordinating specialized legal support as needed.</li> <li>Support the wider company in building a leading digital gaming platform.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>What skills and qualifications are important to us:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>JD. with strong academic background and highest level of integrity</li> <li>5+ years of legal experience, including experience drafting and negotiating technology, software, data and other commercial agreements</li> <li>Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to both detail and business context.</li> <li>Excellent judgment and ability to balance legal risk with practical business needs.</li> <li>Effective communicator who can simplify complex issues for non-legal stakeholders.</li> <li>Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</li> <li>Experience using AI in a legal context, implementing AI-supported legal processes, or helping legal teams adopt AI-enabled workflows is a plus.</li> <li>Interest or experience in sports, entertainment, or gaming is also a plus.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming.
