<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>Location</em></strong><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">: Come and join us in Hamburg, or Barcelona!<br></span></em></p> <p>Freenow by Lyft empowers smarter mobility decisions helping people to move freely and cities to thrive.<br>Be ready to work in a multinational, diverse, highly motivated and collaborative team of passionate Commercial Finance Managers who strive for excellence and like to have fun. &nbsp;Are you ready for your next ride?</p> <p>Please submit your CV in English!</p> <hr> <h2><strong>YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:</strong></h2> <p>Within the Commercial Finance team, you are responsible of the overall financial steering of your scope of country(s) / business area(s) from top to bottom line, monitoring independently its performance vs financial targets</p> <ul> <li>by owning the forecasting and planning process for your scope&nbsp;</li> <li>by monitoring and reporting on the actual performance in comparison with budget / forecast on a weekly and monthly basis, and staying agile in the financial steering in order to meet financial targets</li> <li>by setting up efficient processes that allow to hold key stakeholders accountable for the financial impact of their actions and decisions</li> <li>by being the principal point of contact regarding all financial questions and developments for your scope</li> </ul> <p>You are a key sparring partner to local and central management regarding investment decisions for your markets as well as business opportunities in terms of growth, monetization and efficiency</p> <ul> <li>by consulting them on what’s driving the business and what levers to pull to increase performance&nbsp;</li> <li>by evaluating the investment level based on your knowledge of the market and the involvement it will have on the budget allocated to your scope</li> <li>by challenging operational and marketing teams on their investment decisions in awareness of both market and overall company interests</li> <li>by supporting business decisions through financial analysis and business casing</li> </ul> <p>You’ll take an active role in shaping the positioning of the Commercial Finance team within the organization</p> <ul> <li>by participating in and maintaining the strong network to other functions within the headquarter and within the local markets</li> <li>by taking part in further development of our existing tool kit for steering the business</li> <li>by taking ownership for transversal projects with internal stakeholders</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>You have got a degree in the fields of Economics or a comparable qualification with relevant financial expertise</li> <li>You have &gt;3 years of professional experience in the fields of Consulting, Controlling or Operations with strong financial focus</li> <li>You achieved a proven track record of driving business performance through a commercially driven approach</li> <li>You have an intuitive understanding of what drives a business model in a given market and the ability to validate this using commercial data within Excel and Google Sheets</li> <li>You are comfortable working collaboratively with stakeholders across departments, providing constructive input and contributing to decision-making processes</li> <li>You’re adapting quickly to new situations and bring natural curiosity to understand market specific challenges and potential solutions</li> <li>You’re able to communicate complex ideas effectively in English;
