About the role
How You Will Help:
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to Sales Leadership, supporting pricing strategies, customer negotiations, and commercial initiatives
- Translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders
- Participate in regular sales reviews, pipeline discussions, and forecasting processes
- Lead the development of the annual budget and periodic forecasts across customers and product lines
- Build and maintain detailed financial models that capture revenue, margin, and volume assumptions
- Partner with sales and operations teams to align financial targets with commercial strategies
- Analyze monthly financial results, identifying key drivers of revenue and margin variances versus budget and forecast
- Deliver timely, accurate reporting packages with clear commentary on business performance
- Monitor KPIs across customer segments and product lines to track trends and highlight risks/opportunities
- Continuously develop PVM frameworks to explain revenue and margin fluctuations
- Provide deep insights into pricing effectiveness, volume trends, and product/customer mix impacts
- Support pricing strategy optimization and margin improvement initiatives
- Enhance financial reporting tools, dashboards, and data accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, automation, and data integration
- Ensure consistency and transparency in financial methodologies across the commercial organization
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus)
- 6–10+ years of FP&A or commercial finance experience, preferably in a sales-driven environment
- Strong expertise in Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analysis and margin optimization
- Proven experience building budgets and forecasts at a detailed customer and product level
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver
- Experience supporting a high-growth or multi-product organization
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales drivers and commercial dynamics
