We are looking for a commercially minded Commercial Growth Associate to unlock this opportunity by increasing merchant activity, retention, product adoption and revenue through scalable, data-driven and AI-enabled growth initiatives. <div>You will  <div> <ul> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, Marketing and Data teams to drive merchant growth initiatives.</li> <li>Take ownership of the SME and long-tail merchant segment performance.</li> <li>Influence stakeholders using data-driven insights to prioritise growth opportunities.</li> </ul> Merchant Lifecycle Growth  <div> <ul> <li>Design and implement lifecycle programmes to improve merchant activation, engagement and retention.</li> <li>Identify growth opportunities across the merchant journey and deploy targeted interventions.</li> <li>Optimise onboarding-to-activation funnels to increase active merchant rates.</li> </ul> Merchant Revenue Growth  <div> <ul> <li>Drive Gross Payment Value (GPV) growth across the SME merchant base.</li> <li>Increase revenue per merchant through targeted commercial initiatives.</li> <li>Improve transaction frequency and overall merchant performance.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div>Merchant Health & Segmentation <div> <ul> <li>Develop and manage merchant segmentation strategies based on behaviour and value.</li> <li>Build and maintain merchant health scoring frameworks.</li> <li>Identify at-risk merchants and implement proactive retention strategies.</li> </ul> Product Adoption & Expansion  <div> <ul> <li>Increase adoption of Ozow products across the merchant base.</li> <li>Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.</li> <li>Partner with Product and Marketing teams to drive feature awareness and usage.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div>Automation & AI-Enabled </div> <div> <div> <ul> <li>Design and implement scalable, automated growth programmes.</li> <li>Leverage AI tools to enhance merchant engagement and internal efficiency.</li> <li>Build automated lifecycle journeys that drive measurable outcomes.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> <div>Growth Experimentation  <div> <ul> <li>Run structured experiments to test and optimise growth strategies.</li> <li>Use data insights to refine initiatives and improve performance.</li> <li>Measure and report on impact of growth initiatives.</li> </ul> </div> Tool Utilization & Change Management </div> <div> <div> <ul> <li>Ensure effective use of CRM, data tools and systems to support growth initiatives.</li> <li>Build and maintain processes and documentation for scalability.</li> <li>Support implementation of tools and systems that enhance merchant growth.</li> </ul> Requirements  <ul> <li>3–6 years experience in Growth, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Lifecycle Marketing, Merchant Success, Customer Growth, Business Performance or Analytics. </li> <li>Experience working with SME or merchant portfolios at scale, using data to drive commercial decisions and executing measurable growth initiatives. </li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div><div class="content-conclusion">Your skills and competencies <ul> <li>You eagerly embrace change, absorb cross-functional skills, and connect ideas across disciplines to drive fresh thinking and innovation. </li> <li>Ability to initiate, develop, maintain and leverage outstanding relationships to influence a wide network, both inside and outside the company. </li> <li>A trailblazer who steps up, takes charge, and creates meaningful impact—those driven by performance and purpose to lead from the front and make a real difference every day. </li> <li>You thrive in collaboration, embrace inclusion, and bring a genuine curiosity for global cultures—valuing collective success over individual credit. </li> <li>Demonstrate strategic foresight, sound judgement, and the ability to make confident decisions under uncertainty, always working toward the best possible outcomes. </li> <li>You challenge norms, champion innovation, and constantly seek growth—for themselves, their team, and the solutions they build. </li> <li>You are a decisive doer—those who take initiative, follow through with confidence, and ensure results through courageous, hands-on leadership. </li> <li>We value optimism, agility, and the strength to persevere under pressure—balancing performance with positivity, even in challenging environments. </li> <li>You are driven, proactive individuals who take ownership, face challenges with grit, and consistently push for excellence—not just as participants, but as catalysts for success. </li> </ul> Interview process  During the interview process you will meet with the People team, the hiring manager, and relevant CSuite.
