You’ll diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems while building lasting relationships with our customers through excellent communication and workmanship.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What BME Offers You</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Top Pay:</strong> $35–$40 per hour</li> <li><strong>Paid Weekly</strong></li> <li><strong>Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits:</strong> Begin Day 1 — no waiting period</li> <li><strong>80 Hours of Vacation to Start</strong></li> <li><strong>Company-Paid Life Insurance Policy</strong></li> <li><strong>401(k) Plan:</strong> With company match</li> <li><strong>Annual Perks: </strong>Boot Allowance and company-provided uniforms</li> <li><strong>Home Dispatch:</strong> Begin your day from home (where applicable)</li> </ul> <p data-start="145" data-end="163"><strong data-start="145" data-end="161">Main Duties:</strong></p> <ul data-start="164" data-end="700"> <li data-start="164" data-end="330">Install commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, DX equipment, fan systems, and refrigeration units.</li> <li data-start="429" data-end="520">Installing, piping, brazing, duct work, and change outs.</li> <li data-start="521" data-end="627">Track and document work performed, including obtaining purchase orders and completing service reports.</li> <li data-start="628" data-end="700">Travel to customer locations to provide on-site service and repairs.</li> <li data-start="628" data-end="700">Read prints and schematics on new installations.</li> <li data-start="628" data-end="700">Work alongside other trades on commercial job sites.</li> </ul> <p data-start="702" data-end="725"><strong data-start="702" data-end="723">Secondary Duties:</strong></p> <ul data-start="726" data-end="954"> <li data-start="726" data-end="771">Train apprentices and junior installers.</li> </ul> <p data-start="956" data-end="975"><strong data-start="956" data-end="973">Requirements:</strong></p> <ul data-start="976" data-end="1592"> <li data-start="976" data-end="1026">Ability to carry and climb a ladder up to 28’.</li> <li data-start="1027" data-end="1073">Ability to sit and stand for long periods.</li> <li data-start="1074" data-end="1107">Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li> <li data-start="1108" data-end="1135">Valid Driver’s License.</li> <li data-start="1136" data-end="1152">EPA license.</li> <li data-start="1153" data-end="1189">OSHA 10 certification (preferred).</li> <li data-start="1190" data-end="1298">5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.</li> <li data-start="1299" data-end="1348">Strong problem-solving skills.</li> <li data-start="1349" data-end="1438">Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li> <li data-start="1439" data-end="1474">Excellent communication skills.</li> <li data-start="1475" data-end="1592">Experience with mechanical systems, including chillers, DX equipment, boilers, refrigeration, and basic controls.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p data-start="1594" data-end="1625"><strong data-start="1594" data-end="1623">Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul data-start="1626" data-end="1741"> <li data-start="1626" data-end="1663">Experience working with chillers.</li> <li data-start="1664" data-end="1691">Control/BAS experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $35/h - $40/h</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
