This role provides efficient, professional, and courteous service to clients by phone, email, and in person, with a strong focus on Surety bond requirements and compliance.</p> <p>The Account Manager is responsible for managing risk by openly exchanging ideas, elevating concerns, and adhering to established policies and procedures. This position requires a commitment to doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, ensuring actions and behaviors create a positive client experience. While operating within the agency’s risk appetite, the Account Manager achieves results by identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide daily administrative support for Surety accounts, including gathering and preparing renewal information (loss runs, financial statements, experience mod worksheets).</li> <li>Process Surety bond requests, endorsements, certificates of insurance, evidence of insurance, cancellations, and other assigned support duties.</li> <li>Handle operational tasks related to new/existing Surety accounts, risk management, marketing support, and order entry.</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate execution of transactions and maintain documentation to agency standards.</li> <li>Communicate with clients regularly to keep them informed about bond and insurance matters.</li> <li>Educate and&nbsp;coach business partners on Surety products, compliance requirements, and operational processes.</li> <li>Invoice applicable accounts and process premiums as required.</li> <li>Maintain current files and prepare policy renewal questionnaires, recommending coverage enhancements where appropriate.</li> <li>Review expiration lists prior to renewal for proactive customer contact and improved retention.</li> <li>Update client information in the agency system according to department procedures.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Active P&amp;C License&nbsp;in the State of California (required)</li> <li>5+ years of industry experience, with a strong background in Surety and Commercial Lines</li> <li>Experience with Epic agency management system&nbsp;(required)</li> <li>Surplus/excess lines experience (required)</li> <li>Ability to work independently with limited supervision</li> <li>Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks</li> <li>Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills</li> <li>Ability to follow written and oral instructions and resolve client/vendor issues effectively</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span class="ui-provider ey blo qt blp blq blr bls blt blu blv blw blx bly blz bma bmb bmc bmd bme bmf bmg bmh bmi bmj bmk bml bmm bmn bmo bmp bmq bmr bms bmt bmu">This range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position.
