The full annual pay range is $84,960 - $127,440</span></p> <ul> <li>Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer of employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p> <p>This role is responsible for developing, growing, and managing a portfolio of quality, member business loan&nbsp;relationships in support of the credit union’s strategic goals within the Washington and Oregon&nbsp;market areas.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identifies and develops new member business loan opportunities through a variety of&nbsp;networking methodologies and community involvement within the credit union’s footprint.</li> <li>Develops profitable and positive networks within the business community. Assumes the&nbsp;responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective and professional business&nbsp;relationships with existing/prospective members and centers of influence (COI’s).</li> <li>Builds a quality member business loan portfolio, by negotiating terms and conditions within&nbsp;the credit union’s prescribed framework and strictly adhere to all commercial lending policies&nbsp;and procedures while meeting federal and state regulations.</li> <li>Maintains knowledge of competitor rates, programs, terms, and conditions in order to&nbsp;strategically present the credit union’s programs.</li> <li>Performs interviews and consultation with the prospective business loan member and assume full responsibility for all aspects of the loan process, to include: collecting and reviewing the loan application and supporting financial documentation; collaboration with the Credit Analyst to provide a thorough analysis of the loan request; review of loan documentation; perform timely periodic annual term loan and risk reviews; monitor delinquencies and surface potential concerns with weakened credits.</li> <li>Meets monthly loan production and/or profitability goals; as well as, sales activities and&nbsp;outbound calling goals.</li> <li>Maintains the strong credit quality of the credit union’s member business lending portfolio&nbsp;through ongoing portfolio management.</li> <li>Supports a strong relationship banking culture through superior product knowledge and&nbsp;promotion/marketing of a broad range of the credit union’s products and services.</li> <li>Serves as a resource and develop positive relationships with all credit union partners; internal&nbsp;and external.</li> <li>Complies with established State and Federal regulations as they pertain to transactions/tasks&nbsp;performed and completes necessary documentation and/or disclosures as required by law.</li> <li>All other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-teams="true">When You'll Be Working:&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></strong><span data-teams="true">Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Full-time 40 hours a week.</span></p> <p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of five (5) years experience in a high-volume, production-oriented, commercial lending role&nbsp;or equivalent position. Valid driver's license to drive fleet vehicles in course of work.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points If You Have:&nbsp;<br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics or related field of study.</li> <li>Certifications: R<span data-teams="true">isk Management Association</span> (RMA) Lending Certifications.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring:<br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with investor commercial real estate, C&amp;I lending, and business deposit products.</li> <li>Possess a knowledge and understanding of commercial lending guidelines, regulatory&nbsp;procedures, processes, and laws as they pertain to the acceptance and approval of member&nbsp;business loans.</li> <li>Strong networking and relationship management skills.</li> <li>High level of consultative selling skills, negotiation and presentation skills, with a history of&nbsp;successful outside sales experience.</li> <li>Ability to make recommendations on loan pricing, terms, risk grades, evaluate the liquidation&nbsp;value of collateral, specify sources of repayment, assess industry business and management&nbsp;risks, etc.</li> <li>Prepare written requests for approval of member business loans that cover all regulatory and&nbsp;credit union requirements.</li> <li>Ability to understand complex business loan requests, evaluate overall financial capacity of&nbsp;borrowers/guarantors, and identify strengths and weaknesses.</li> <li>Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work successfully in a collaborative manner with&nbsp;other staff members.</li> <li>Establish program goals and objectives that support the credit union’s strategic plan.</li> <li>Work extended hours as required or requested by management to complete assigned&nbsp;projects.</li> <li>Ability to maintain a positive attitude while actively looking for ways to helps members and&nbsp;co-workers.</li> <li>Direct experience in commercial lending and/or business development within the core market&nbsp;area preferred.</li> <li>Experience with and/or working knowledge of financial services loan and documentation&nbsp;systems (e.g. LaserPro) preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Total Rewards:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits.
