This position is responsible for all dealer &amp; fleet sales, support, education, and marketing of all Truck &amp; Bus tires in their assigned territories. Ensure territory achieves assigned Market Share goals as measured in each stat by USTMA data. The commerical territory manager&nbsp;is also responsible for being the "Regional Expert" on all TB matters as requested by Executive Management or Regional Director at the instruction of the Commercial Director.</p> <p><strong>Key Accountabilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Primarily responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with dealer and fleet customers in an assigned territory, and track sales activity after completion of each call</li> <li>Schedules planned in advance to ensure an agenda is set for each call and ensure any issues are identified for timely resolution</li> <li>Support customers through the sales and purchase process while handling the administration of - but not limited to: Pricing, Category Tire Orders (TB), Warranty Adjustments, Credits, Special Discount Requests, Product Testing, Product Training, Track sales toward AVB and GIB goals</li> <li>Required to plan and execute allocation of work time in the field with servicing commercial dealers, wholesale dealers, dealer sales personnel, and fleet accounts</li> <li>Plan, schedule and participate in special events, expositions, product training, trade shows, dealer or fleet meetings as agreed to by management</li> <li>Serve as a regional representative for all TB matters as assigned by management</li> <li>Prospect new commercial dealers in collaboration with other Territory Managers and Regional Directors</li> <li>Enter tire performance data for analysis by TB Marketing</li> <li>Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management</li> </ul> <p><strong>Core Competancies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written)</li> <li>Superior interpersonal skills</li> <li>Business acumen</li> <li>Business planning skills</li> <li>Consultative selling skills</li> <li>Self-starter with a strong independent work ethic</li> <li>Ability to use Microsoft office suite of products</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li> <li>5 years’ experience in sales, with strong preference for candidates who have tire industry experience</li> <li>Ability to travel 50% - 75% of the time required</li> <li>Experience with Excel and CRM tools required</li> <li>Must currently reside within the territory</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p><em>DISCLAIMER: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.&nbsp; They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.</em></p> <p><em>Hankook Tire is an equal opportunity employer.
