Working behind the scenes—but at the center of it all—you’ll coordinate life-saving air medical transports by managing critical communications with hospitals, emergency responders, flight crews, and internal teams. In fast-moving, high-stakes moments, your calm voice, sharp focus, and decisive thinking help ensure patients get the care they need, when they need it most.</p> <p data-start="820" data-end="974">This is a mission-driven role for someone who thrives under pressure, excels at multitasking, and takes pride in precision, professionalism, and teamwork.</p> <p data-start="820" data-end="974"><strong>This role is a night shift with hours of 6pm-6am</strong></p> </div> <p><strong>Your Impact</strong>:</p> <ul> <li data-start="998" data-end="1103">Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming telephone, radio, and digital requests for service</li> <li data-start="1106" data-end="1211">Dispatch <strong data-start="1115" data-end="1159">11 helicopters and 1 fixed-wing aircraft</strong>, coordinating time-sensitive air medical transports</li> <li data-start="1214" data-end="1324">Gather, process, and communicate critical information accurately and efficiently during high-stress situations</li> <li data-start="1327" data-end="1426">Maintain real-time situational awareness of aircraft locations, weather, logistics, and crew status</li> <li data-start="1429" data-end="1510">Create and manage electronic records using a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system</li> <li data-start="1513" data-end="1622">Communicate clearly and professionally with pilots, medical crews, hospitals, EMS, and public safety partners</li> <li data-start="1625" data-end="1729">Support flight and patient safety through diligent monitoring, documentation, and adherence to protocols</li> <li data-start="1732" data-end="1825">Participate in emergency response planning, quality improvement efforts, and ongoing training</li> <li data-start="1828" data-end="1922">Represent Life Link III with professionalism, integrity, and a strong customer-service mindset</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Qualifications</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction</li> <li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal skills</li> <li>Computer literate with the ability to learn and adapt to new software programs</li> <li>Ability to type <strong>35 words per minute</strong></li> <li><strong>Commit to shift work in a <strong data-start="3161" data-end="3183">24/7/365 operation</strong>, including nights, weekends, and holidays</strong></li> <li>General geographic knowledge and map reading skills</li> <li data-start="2649" data-end="2735">Maintain composure and clarity during emotionally intense and time-critical situations</li> <li data-start="2738" data-end="2840">Rapidly assess evolving scenarios and adapt plans due to weather, mechanical, or logistical challenges</li> <li data-start="2843" data-end="2909">Accurately handle confidential patient and operational information</li> <li data-start="2912" data-end="3009">Work independently within established protocols while knowing when to escalate complex situations</li> <li data-start="3012" data-end="3132">Operate multiple technologies simultaneously, including radios, phones, CAD systems, mapping tools, and tracking system</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>EMS, air medical communication, and/or 911 communication center experience</li> <li>2 years of experience in a health care environment</li> <li>Knowledge of aviation and medical terminology</li> <li>Licensure: EMT, EMD, POST certification or equivalent education or experience</li> <li>Two-year degree in related field</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Base Pay Rate: $30.91 - $36.95 per hour, based on experience</li> <li>Health, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage starting the first of the month following date of hire</li> <li>Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer match</li> <li>401k with employer match fully vested</li> <li>Generous paid leave and paid time off to foster work/life balance</li> <li>Life, disability, critical illness, and accident insurance</li> <li>Tuition/Training reimbursement program</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Why Join Life Link III?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">We are dedicated to making a difference.
