<p><strong><span style="color: rgb(101, 94, 155);"><u>The Role: </u></span></strong><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">We are seeking a meticulous,</span><span data-contrast="none"> detail-oriented Compliance Auditor to join our Compliance Team. </span><span data-contrast="none">The Compliance Auditor, specializing in hard-file review, will play a crucial role in ensuring our files comply with all relevant laws, Affordable Care Act regulations, and internal policies. This role involves carefully examining resident files, documentation, and records to identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<li><span data-contrast="none">Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":160}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Knowledge of Affordable Housing regulations highly desired.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":160}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software highly desired.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":160}"> </span></li>

<p><strong>Compliance Management</strong></p>

<li><span data-contrast="none">Conduct in-depth reviews of hard files, including lease agreements, tenant records, financial documents, and maintenance records, to assess compliance with leasing agreements, safety regulations, and fair housing laws.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":360}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Examine property records and documentation to identify discrepancies or potential compliance issues.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":360}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Collaborate with property managers and relevant staff to address compliance concerns and guide the implementation of corrective actions.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":360}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Maintain a comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to property management and leasing.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":360}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Generate detailed audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and areas requiring corrective action based on hard file reviews.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":360}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Provide support for the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":360}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Stay informed about changes in property management and compliance regulations and ensure the organization remains fully compliant.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559685":360}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Offer guidance and training to property management teams regarding maintaining compliance through proper documentation and record-keeping</span></li>
