Junior Compliance Officer

Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking Payment Institution, committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance, ethics, and regulatory integrity. As part of their continued growth, they are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance Officer to support their compliance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is eager to develop their career in compliance and gain hands-on experience within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of internal compliance audits and reviews

• Support in the development and updating of internal procedures and policies

• Contribute to internal investigations relating to compliance issues

• Provide general administrative support to the compliance team as required

• Assist in ensuring that company operations adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  
  Requirements:
  

• A Certificate in Compliance or a minimum of 1 year experience (or internship) in a compliance-related role or similar

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

• A proactive attitude and willingness to grow within the compliance field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with compliance tools or software

• Good understanding of Maltese AML/CFT laws and local regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, etc.)
