Compliance Risk Specialist

Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <p>As a member of the Compliance Team within the Risk Management Organization, you will provide support and guidance to cross-functional stakeholders as well as perform delegated aspects of the core compliance program to identify and manage risk. You will also:</p> <ul> <li>Support enterprise risk assessments and contribute to the development and execution of the annual audit plan.</li> <li>Execute internal audit, review, and monitoring activities across systems and operational processes to evaluate risk exposure, control effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement.</li> <li>Support corporate compliance training initiatives, including coordination, delivery, and tracking activities.</li> <li>Maintain compliance-related processes, playbooks, policies, and other documentation to support ongoing compliance programs.</li> <li>Coordinate assigned compliance projects in partnership with key business stakeholders and assist with project implementation activities.</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to business teams on issues, project plans, and initiatives with potential compliance implications, escalating matters as appropriate.</li> <li>Administer and maintain tools and resources that support compliance operations, including project management, workflow, and communication platforms.</li> <li>Conduct risk-based reviews and analysis of proposed projects, vendors, and issue remediation efforts, and provide recommendations for consideration.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p> <p>You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who values the opportunity to think beyond the way things are. In addition, you’re a self-starter with 2 years of experience managing compliance risks within a dynamic enterprise.</p> <ul> <li>You have 3+ years experience supporting a compliance risk management program.</li> <li>You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.</li> <li>You are able to manage risks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>You have excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills to convey risk effectively to the compliance team and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>You have superior organizational skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>You are flexible and able to prioritize and adapt in ambiguous situations.</li> <li>You are passionate about healthcare and the fight against cancer.</li> <li>You are eager to apply your skills to enhance compliance in innovative ways.</li> </ul> <p>Extra credit&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>You have experience working in a healthcare environment with knowledge and understanding of HIPAA, GDPR requirements.</li> <li>You have systems experience (e.g., Navex, LogicGate, AI tools)</li> <li>You have project management credentials and experience with data analysis.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Where you’ll work</strong></p> <p>In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and 3 office days set by you and your team.
