Compliance Specialist

<p><strong>The Compliance area</strong> is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the AML/CTF (LAFT) risk management framework of the company. As we build a financial institution from the ground up, this area plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, protecting the company from financial crime risks, and enabling sustainable a data-driven Compliance framework from the ground up within a fast-growing fintech environment.</li> <li data-section-id="1vylceb" data-start="151" data-end="320">Support and lead SARLAFT compliance monitoring and risk assessments to identify, prevent, and mitigate money laundering and terrorist financing risks across business operations.</li> <li data-section-id="sc50us" data-start="322" data-end="524">Conduct customer and third-party due diligence (KYC/CDD), transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity investigations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.</li> <li data-section-id="1y85v90" data-start="526" data-end="729">Support regulatory audits, reporting processes, and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate documentation, preparing risk reports, and strengthening AML/SARLAFT controls and governance frameworks.</li> <li data-section-id="1qdk76l" data-start="731" data-end="929">Design, implement, and continuously enhance data segmentation models, information classification systems, and compliance risk methodologies to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.</li> <li data-section-id="7zcr4v" data-start="1107" data-end="1282">Analyze data to identify risk patterns, operational inefficiencies, and automation opportunities that optimize Compliance processes and strengthen monitoring capabilities.</li> <li data-section-id="xpj8u3" data-start="1284" data-end="1420">Balance strong regulatory requirements with scalable, efficient, and data-driven operational processes in a
