About the role

<p>Aimé Leon Dore is looking for a polished, customer-focused<strong> Concierge Associate</strong> to serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing a personalized, seamless, and memorable experience. The ideal candidate will anticipate customer needs, offer tailored services, and support store operations while delivering the highest level of service.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Hosting / Traffic Management</strong> <ul> <li>Greet and welcome all guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner.</li> <li>Manage the traffic of the retail space / occasionally checking in on the experience within Café Leon Dore</li> <li>Responsible for advising on opportunities to increase / manage traffic.</li> <li>Manage the wait list and proactively communicate accurate waiting times</li> <li>Ensuring and gauging capacity levels are met within the store at all times — knowing and communicating when to decrease or increase traffic</li> <li>Be a Brand Ambassador for all things ALD, leaning into the styling and brand values.</li> <li>Monitor store appearance and ensure the front-of-house environment is immaculate and welcoming.</li> <li>Offer local knowledge, including nearby amenities, restaurants, and attractions.</li> <li>Collect and relay customer feedback to improve service quality.</li> <li>Taking accountability of when anything needs maintenance and retouching. This should be communicated to management immediately. (Planters broken, doors not locking, paint retouches, pest control, etc.)</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Client Experience</strong> <ul> <li>Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness</li> <li>Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional and positive demeanor at all times</li> <li>Speak to standard Q&amp;A regarding menus, hours of operation and amenity availability/pricing and comfortable reaching out for support to ensure all inquiries are addressed and in a timely matter</li> <li>Engaging in proper and positive communications with guests throughout greeting, seating, and departure experiences, and as otherwise may be needed</li> <li>Being able to kindly ask that guest not sit on any outside areas and not block the sidewalk if waiting</li> <li>Ensuring (with the assistance of lounge staff) the sidewalk, storefront, and planters are not blocked / occupied.</li> <li>Assisting with online returns at the door with hospitality and professionalism (starting online returns from door device)</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Community</strong> <ul> <li>Build relationships with members, F&amp;F/VIP and guests and communicate any red flags and positive feedback to management to assess</li> <li>Being able to gauge potential VIP / F&amp;F guest’s entry</li> <li>Assist VIP clientele with white-glove services such as personal shopping, gift wrapping, or delivery coordination.</li> <li>Manage the wait list during any activations / brand partnership events, continuing to build on community and taking care of VIP / F&amp;F attendees.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p> <div id="message-list_1771956779.404949"> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or high-touch client service environments with demonstrated excellence in guest experience delivery.</li> <li>Strong presence and emotional intelligence, with the ability to read the room, anticipate guest needs, and manage dynamic traffic flow with composure.</li> <li>Proven experience supporting VIP, high-profile, or discerning clientele with discretion and professionalism.</li> <li>Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to represent the brand with confidence, warmth, and polish.</li> <li>Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities, particularly in capacity management and guest prioritization.</li> <li>Deep appreciation for brand storytelling, styling, and experiential retail environments.</li> <li>Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining an elevated, immaculate front-of-house presentation.</li> <li>Comfortable utilizing digital tools and POS systems to support operational efficiency.</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.</li> <li>Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and key brand activation periods.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <p><strong>Physical Requirements </strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands</li> <li>Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours</li> <li>Must be able to work all operational hours</li> <li>Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the space to others</li> <li>Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds</li> <li>Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch as required</li> </ul> <p>Salary Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Aimé Leon Dore is from Queens, NY.
