<p><strong>ConexSmart Technician</strong></p> <p>ConexSmart’s technicians play a critical role in the production of complex wire harnesses used in aerospace and defense applications. This position is responsible for ensuring all assemblies meet engineering specifications and quality standards.</p> <p>This role offers the opportunity to directly support industries that save lives and push the boundaries of technology. Training is provided, but a passion for learning and continuous improvement is expected.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Education: </span></p> <ul> <li>High school dipoma/GED is preferred.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Experience: </span></p> <ul> <li>Experience in wire harness production, aerospace manufacturing, or a similar field is preferred.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Knowledge: </span></p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of soldering, wire crimping and testing equipment is preferred.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to read, comprehend and create written and verbal instruction in English.</li> <li>Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work well both individually and in a team setting, are required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Participate in all aspects of production to ensure financial and customer requirements are met.</li> <li>Demonstrate outstanding abilities in conflict resolution, leadership presence, and organizational management.</li> <li>Develop strategy to grow technically and manufacture harnesses with higher quality.</li> <li>Demonstrate ability to inspect and identify non-compliant products and processes.</li> <li>Develop strategy to support team development and rate manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Handle any material types issued to production.</li> <li>Track project completion timelines to support on time delivery.</li> <li>Ensure manufacturing tools and equipment function properly.</li> <li>Create a safe work environment for production teams.</li> <li>Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as ISO:9001 and AS:9100 Quality Standards, Lean Manufacturing and Employee Safety.</li> </ul> <p><em>Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.</em><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Internal and External Relationships</strong></p> <p>This position will work closely with ConexSmart’s quality and engineering departments, along with other technicians.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
