We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator/Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the successful planning and execution of electrical projects.</p>
<p><strong>Salary Range: $160,000 - $172,000</strong></p>

<p><strong>Position: CONSTRUCTION MANAGER III</strong></p>
<p><strong>Synopsis</strong><br>The TDIP Construction Manager shall report to their assigned project’s respective project manager <br>and is responsible for managing and coordinating construction activities of the Construction <br>Contractor (Design/Builder and/or Construction Manager at Risk). The TDIP Construction Manager acts <br>as the liaison for pre-construction and construction activities, including leading the safety, <br>security and quality for the assigned programs. The Terminal Development and Improvement Program <br>(TDIP) is a major capital program focused on delivering distinct projects focused on modernizing <br>LAX’s passenger terminals to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, safety, and <br>connectivity across the airport.</p>
<p><strong>Position Description Summary</strong></p>
<p>The TDIP Construction Manager is responsible for managing the scope, cost, schedule and operational <br>interfaces of all design and construction related activities for the program. The TDIP Construction <br>Manager will be focused on schedule certainty, budget delivery and making sure that construction <br>work meets the required quality standards while enforcing a strong health, safety, and <br>environmental culture on the project. The TDIP Construction Manager will support the development <br>and implementation of design, construction, testing, commissioning, turnover plans, impacts to the <br>operations, ensuring that risk mitigation for construction activities are optimized, working and <br>coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring LAWA standards are adhered to.<br>Key Identifiers for the Position<br>• Construction Manager with experience in an operating/active environment<br>• Management of construction within budget and schedule constraints while maintaining all <br>necessary scope elements<br>• Leader in stakeholder engagement to identity, communicate, resolution and accomplishment their <br>needs, while preserving the principles and criteria of the project scope, schedule and budget <br>constraints<br>• Knowledge in construction contracting practices and methodologies<br>• Knowledge and experience in the project construction life cycle from Pre-Construction to <br>estimating/buyout to phasing to implementation to Closeout<br> • Maintaining an excellent working relationship with the design and construction professionals <br>geared towards open communications and mutual problem solving in the best interest of the project <br>and all other parties involved</p>
<p><strong>Essential Job Duties</strong><br>• Monitor all on-site field construction activities associated with the completion of the <br>project.<br>• Apply comprehensive knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction, as well as <br>the methods and techniques to be utilized for installation.<br>• Ensure construction operations follow approved work plans and Area Shutdown Requests (ASR’s) and <br>all proper notifications are made<br>• Become thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of all <br>facilities to be erected<br>• Ensure all work is being performed with and inspected to the latest versions of plans and <br>specifications, including approved changes, submittals and RFI’s<br>• Work with Construction Contractor and stakeholders to develop the overall planning of <br>construction activities and identify critical milestones and priorities<br>• Monitor budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule<br>• Monitor the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain <br>schedules, and to meet budget goals<br>• Keep alert to possible problem areas and take preventative action to ensure that critical <br>milestones are met for each phase of the project<br>• Ensure the use of sound and safe construction practices to attain required quality control at <br>the maximum efficiency and minimum cost<br>• Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level <br>management and clients<br>• Ensure effective implementation of all policies and procedures, including project labor <br>agreement policies<br>• Contribute to the advancement of TDG’s goals through commitment to productive collaboration with <br>all stakeholders<br>• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate<br>• Participate in all necessary coordination meetings with the Construction Contractor, trade <br>partners, stakeholders, LAWA Operations, etc.<br>• Review Contractor Potential Change Order Claims for Merit and negotiate to final <br>resolution</p>

<p><br>Hardware/Software Knowledge<br>• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam<br>• Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems (PM Web)</p>
<p><br>Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications<br>• 10 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects<br>• Experience with projects more than $100 million in value.<br>• Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and <br>Design/Build<br>• Proven ability to perform in a management capacity<br>• Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices <br>and regulations.<br>• Multiple positions are anticipated – Submitted experience to emphasis airport concourse scope, <br>airport headhouse scope, or site/civil scope.</p>
<p><br>Education/Training<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other related field <br>required<br>• Master's degree preferred<br>• Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant <br>professional licensure and/or certifications</p>

<p> • May assume other duties as required/needed<br>• Maybe required to work past regular work shift<br>• Maybe required to work various shifts as needed<br>• LAWA will provide a desktop computer that can be VPN’d into<br>• Consultant MUST have a company-provided laptop computer. This is required for company business <br>and to VPN into LAWA system when away from the office as necessary<br>• Cell phone provided by consultant is required<br>• This is NOT a work from home position<br>• This is a salaried position based on 40 hours per week at the applicable all-in labor rate.</p>

<p> • This is a Monday-Friday full-time position in the office or on the project site at LAX<br>• After hours or weekend work may be required to perform the duties of the position. This shall be <br>considered part of the salary<br>• Transportation to/from LAX worksite is the responsibility of the consultant</p>
