At Decima, you will be able to explore incredible growth and professional development opportunities.</p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Procurement/Sourcing Manager</strong> to support hyperscale data center construction projects in an owner’s representative capacity. This role will support the owner through procurement planning, sourcing oversight, owner-direct procurement support, long-lead item tracking, procurement reporting, and procurement risk management.</p> <p>This is not a back-office purchasing role or a replacement for the GC/CM’s procurement responsibilities. It is a project-facing role focused on procurement visibility, commercial alignment, schedule protection, and early identification of supply chain and vendor risks.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as the owner’s representative for procurement and sourcing activities on large-scale construction projects.</li> <li>Support procurement planning aligned with project scope, budget, schedule, contracting strategy, and required-on-site dates.</li> <li>Provide owner-side review and oversight of GC/CM procurement activities, including procurement status, GC/CM-prepared bid leveling summaries, award recommendations, and key procurement risks.</li> <li>Support owner-direct procurement activities, including OFCI/OFOI equipment, professional services, consultants, commissioning, testing, and other owner-managed packages.</li> <li>Review procurement packages, scopes, drawings, specifications, proposals, exclusions, assumptions, lead times, and commercial terms to support owner decision-making.</li> <li>Evaluate contractor and vendor proposals for alignment with scope, budget, schedule, delivery requirements, and commercial expectations.</li> <li>Track long-lead equipment and critical procurement items to support construction sequencing, commissioning, turnover, and schedule commitments.</li> <li>Maintain procurement logs for owner-direct packages, GC/CM procurement status, long-lead items, required-on-site dates, delivery status, key milestones, and purchase order or contract values where applicable.</li> <li>Analyze vendor availability, lead times, pricing risks, and supply chain constraints to identify potential impacts on cost, schedule, and delivery.</li> <li>Identify procurement risks early and escalate issues that may impact project cost, schedule, scope, quality, or delivery.</li> <li>Coordinate with project managers, construction managers, cost managers, schedulers, contracts, legal, finance, GC/CM teams, vendors, and client stakeholders on procurement priorities, risks, approvals, and decisions.</li> <li>Partner with the Contracts Manager to ensure procurement recommendations, commercial clarifications, contract handoffs, and supporting documentation are complete and aligned with the owner’s interests.</li> <li>Monitor vendor, supplier, and GC/CM procurement performance against key commitments, including delivery dates, documentation, quality expectations, and commercial requirements.</li> <li>Prepare procurement status reports, risk summaries, lookaheads, decision logs, and recommendations for owner leadership.</li> <li>Support resolution of procurement-related issues and procurement closeout, including open commitments, final documentation, lessons learned, and performance feedback.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <p><strong>Required qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Project Management, or related fields.</li> <li>8+ years of experience in construction procurement, sourcing, supply chain, project procurement, preconstruction, construction management, or related project delivery roles.</li> <li>Experience supporting large construction or capital projects with complex scopes, multiple stakeholders, and strong cost, schedule, procurement, and contract controls.</li> <li>Strong understanding of construction procurement, RFP processes, bid leveling, vendor engagement, purchase orders, long-lead equipment, OFCI/OFOI coordination, and delivery tracking.</li> <li>Ability to review scopes of work, drawings, specifications, proposal documents, pricing sheets, exclusions, assumptions, alternates, lead times, and commercial terms.</li> <li>Experience coordinating procurement activities with owners, project teams, GC/CM teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, suppliers, legal, finance, and client stakeholders.</li> <li>Ability to identify procurement risks and explain the impact on project cost, schedule, delivery, and owner decision-making.</li> <li>Strong communication, negotiation, organization, documentation, reporting, and issue-resolution skills.</li> <li>Experience with procurement, project management, or reporting systems such as Procore, Unifier, e-Builder, Kahua, Oracle, SAP, Coupa, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar platforms preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Owner-side, owner’s representative, developer, program management, construction management, or large capital project experience.</li> <li>Experience in data center, mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, power, infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, or similar technical construction environments.</li> <li>Experience supporting or overseeing procurement for electrical, mechanical, design, engineering, commissioning, testing, equipment, and professional service packages.</li> <li>Experience with owner-direct procurement, OFCI/OFOI equipment, MEP equipment, electrical gear, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling equipment, or similar critical systems.</li> <li>Experience supporting procurement activities under common contract vehicles such as GMP, lump sum, design-build, CM-at-Risk, cost-plus, MSAs, or purchase order-based agreements.</li> <li>Familiarity with vendor qualification, logistics coordination, expediting, supplier performance reviews, and delivery risk management.</li> </ul> <p><strong>POSITION DETAILS</strong></p> <ul>
