You will play a critical role in delivering technically challenging projects that improve ecosystems, water systems, and community infrastructure.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead <strong>high-impact projects</strong> across the Western U.S.</li> <li>Work on technically challenging projects in <strong>water resources, restoration, and heavy civil construction</strong></li> <li>Collaborative culture with strong <strong>engineering + construction integration</strong></li> <li>Competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities</li> <li>Opportunity to shape projects that deliver lasting <strong>environmental and community value</strong></li> </ul> <hr> <p></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead <strong>full lifecycle project execution</strong> from pursuit and estimating through construction and closeout</li> <li>Manage <strong>design-build and engineer-led projects</strong>, coordinating closely with engineering, environmental, and field teams</li> <li>Develop and maintain <strong>detailed project schedules, cost estimates, and resource plans</strong></li> <li>Oversee <strong>project financial performance</strong>, including budgets, forecasting, and cost controls</li> <li>Direct and coordinate <strong>field construction activities</strong>, superintendents, subcontractors, and self-perform crews</li> <li>Ensure compliance with <strong>environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and safety standards (OSHA)</strong></li> <li>Manage <strong>change orders, claims avoidance, and contract administration</strong></li> <li>Identify and mitigate <strong>project risks</strong>, including constructability and logistical challenges</li> <li>Lead <strong>client interactions</strong>, including public agencies, utilities, and private stakeholders</li> <li>Support <strong>business development efforts</strong>, including proposals, bid strategy, and client relationship growth</li> <li>Mentor and develop <strong>junior PMs, engineers, and field staff</strong></li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field</strong></li> <li>10+ years of progressive experience in <strong>heavy civil, environmental, or infrastructure construction</strong></li> <li>6+ years managing <strong>complex, multi-phase projects from preconstruction through closeout</strong></li> <li>Strong experience with <strong>estimating, scheduling, and construction execution</strong></li> <li>Proven ability to manage <strong>self-perform work and subcontractors</strong></li> <li>Proficiency with <strong>Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling tools</strong></li> <li>Strong financial acumen, including <strong>cost tracking, forecasting, and job cost reporting</strong></li> <li>Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites across the West Region</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p> <ul> <li>PMP, PE, or other relevant certifications</li> <li>Experience with <strong>water resources, dams, fish passage, river restoration, or hydraulic structures</strong></li> <li>Background in <strong>design-build or alternative delivery methods (CMAR, progressive design-build)</strong></li> <li>Advanced degree</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Expertise</strong></p> <ul> <li>Heavy civil construction means/methods</li> <li>Construction estimating (conceptual through detailed bid)</li> <li>Critical path method (CPM) scheduling</li> <li>Project controls, cost management, and forecasting</li> <li>Contract administration (lump sum, unit price, GMP)</li> <li>Change management and claims mitigation</li> <li>Risk assessment and constructability reviews</li> <li>Environmental and regulatory compliance (CEQA/NEPA familiarity is a plus)</li> <li>Subcontractor procurement and management</li> </ul> <p><strong>Leadership &amp;
