Construction Superintendent

This individual will play a key role in leading field operations from project startup through final completion while maintaining strong relationships with clients, trade partners, inspectors, and internal teams.</p> <p data-start="407" data-end="521">This role is based out of our Irvine headquarters and will oversee projects across the Southern California region.</p> <h2 data-section-id="167o48q" data-start="523" data-end="541">What You'll Do:</h2> <p data-start="543" data-end="1580">• Lead onsite construction activities for ground up and tenant improvement Self Storage projects<br data-start="639" data-end="642">• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and daily field operations<br data-start="733" data-end="736">• Maintain project schedules and proactively identify and resolve field related issues or delays<br data-start="832" data-end="835">• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards<br data-start="954" data-end="957">• Conduct daily site walks and enforce jobsite safety requirements and company policies<br data-start="1044" data-end="1047">• Coordinate with Project Managers regarding schedule updates, procurement, RFIs, inspections, and project milestones<br data-start="1164" data-end="1167">• Manage site logistics, sequencing, manpower coordination, and subcontractor performance<br data-start="1256" data-end="1259">• Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders<br data-start="1359" data-end="1362">• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes and project requirements<br data-start="1457" data-end="1460">• Support project closeout activities including punch lists, inspections, turnover documentation, and final completion</p> <h2 data-section-id="1wmtfcx" data-start="1582" data-end="1603">What You'll Bring:</h2> <p data-start="1605" data-end="2369">• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction<br data-start="1680" data-end="1683">• Experience managing Self Storage, industrial, tilt up, multi story storage, or similar commercial projects<br data-start="1791" data-end="1794">• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing, scheduling, and field operations<br data-start="1888" data-end="1891">• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and fast paced project schedules<br data-start="1969" data-end="1972">• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications<br data-start="2044" data-end="2047">• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills<br data-start="2109" data-end="2112">• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction management technology<br data-start="2187" data-end="2190">• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and project execution<br data-start="2251" data-end="2254">• Ability to travel to project sites throughout Southern California as needed<br data-start="2331" data-end="2334">• OSHA 30 certification preferred</p> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>About Us</strong></p> <p>Uprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
