Consultant - Microsoft Data & AI (Powered Data) | Hybrid - Makati

Roles & responsibilities 

• Support and execute end‑to‑end data migration activities ensuring adherence to defined migration strategies, timelines, and quality standards. 
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using CloverDX or equivalent ETL tools, such as Informatica, SSIS or Alteryx, following established architectural guidelines and best practices.
• Analyze source and target systems to understand data structures and contribute to the definition of data mapping and transformation logic.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and validating queries.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data. 
• Execute migration dry runs, assist in cutover planning, and support post‑migration validation and issue resolution. 
• Prepare and maintain migration‑related documentation, including mapping documents, ETL design specifications, and validation reports.

Educational qualifications 

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Certification in ETL tools or SAP data migration frameworks.

Work experience

• 3-6 years of professional experience in ETL development and data migration projects.
• Strong experience working with SQL and ETL tools such as CloverDX or similar tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Alteryx).

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

• Good to have experience in some ETL tools like Alteryx, Talend, CloverDX and ADF
• Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python, Shell
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. 
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD and DevOps practices. Strong knowledge of data governance, security and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred technical & functional skills 

• Hands‑on experience with ETL/data migration tools such as CloverDX, Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or Alteryx.
• Good working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of data migration concepts, including source‑to‑target mapping, transformations, and data quality checks.
• Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data storage.
