Global Travel Retail is a strategic channel that follows our consumers whenever and wherever they travel. With a volume of more than 13bn sticks planned for 2026, we are the fastest-growing JTI market year to date with a presence in more than 160 markets. We also play a critical role in supporting GFB’s brand equity building and Ploom Geo expansion.

Consumer Journey Activation Manager
This role is responsible for developing and executing brand activation strategies across all GTR product categories, aligned with Marketing strategy and Brand guidelines.
The role partners closely with Americas Travel Retail Sales to deliver impactful, insight-driven initiatives, manage activation plans, and track performance through KPIs. It also serves as a key link between GTR and domestic markets to ensure alignment and support overall Marketing objectives.
Additionally, the role builds strong traveler insights—especially for American segments—to enable effective targeting and engagement across travel retail touchpoints.
Position
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop market-specific strategies with Sales aligned to GTR and global trends.
- Ensure regulatory and digital priorities are considered.
- Maintain alignment with domestic markets.
Brand Activation
- Lead end-to-end activation (launches, LEP, rejuvenation).
- Drive awareness, trial, and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure impactful merchandising and maintain activation calendar.
- Track and optimize performance via KPIs.
Retail Excellence Support (RSC)
- Support training material development and delivery.
- Collaborate with cost-effective agency partners.
Traveler Insights
- Build and refine traveler profiles and purchase drivers.
- Identify high-impact engagement opportunities.
Budget Management
- Manage budgets, ensure efficient allocation and ROI.
- Ensure compliance and partner with Finance on reporting.
Cross-Market Integration
- Act as bridge between GTR and domestic markets.
- Share insights and best practices to drive growth.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent (required).
- 4 - 5 years in FMCG brand marketing experience incl. consumer/trade promotions management would be an advantage.
- Cross functional/cultural experience is an advantage.
- Travel retail experience is an advantage.
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Brand Communication (ATL / BTL), Trade Segmentation, Merchandizing Management, Key Account Management.
- Fluent English (required).
- Spanish a strong advantage.
- Other languages are a plus.
