Syndax Pharmaceuticals is a commercial stage biopharmaceutical company developing an innovative pipeline of cancer therapies.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Role:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The Contractor, CMC Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments across Syndax’s supply chain.&nbsp; This role will primarily interact with our Named Patient Program coordinator, Trade and Distribution team and our 3PL warehouses. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a great attention to detail.&nbsp; This person should also be comfortable managing multiple shipments at a time and working under tight timelines. We are looking for a contractor for 20-30 hours/week.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinate domestic and international shipments of drug substance, drug product and/or finished product to Syndax customers</li> <li>Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (invoices, Shipper Letter of Instruction, airway bills, etc)</li> <li>Communicate with couriers, customs brokers, 3PL, and internal teams to facilitate smooth customs clearance, minimize shipment delays and execute shipments efficiently</li> <li>Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or issues</li> <li>Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems</li> <li>Provide timeline communication and pre-alerts to customers and stakeholders</li> <li>Collect and review temperature monitor data</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Experience/Education and Personal Attributes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree</li> <li>ASCM certification or coursework is desired but not required</li> <li>2-3 years of logistics experience managing complex, international and domestic shipments</li> <li>Strong background with international shipping procedures, including courier selection and customs clearance</li> <li>Prior biotech/pharma work experience</li> <li>Experience with temperature-controlled shipping, including ambient and cold chain</li> <li>Ability to prioritize workload and manage competing deadlines</li> <li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Thorough understanding of GDP’s governing the distribution of pharmaceutical products</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location</strong>: While our corporate headquarters are located in New York City, this position is open to candidates from any location with a preference for east coast locations. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Syndax:</strong><br>Syndax Pharmaceuticals is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company advancing innovative cancer therapies.
