About the role
The Role:
We are looking for a Centre Cook to join us at The Point Early Learning Centre. As part of our friendly and experienced centre team, you will be responsible for providing nutritious, balanced and delicious meals for up to 74 children each day.
We have well-established processes and policies in place, and a well-equipped kitchen to help make your workday enjoyable. With fabulous work hours of 7.30am – 3pm from Monday-Friday, this is a role that allows work-life balance.
Our kitchen is located in the heart of the centre, allowing you to build great relationships with teachers, parents and children.
About You:
Ideally you will have a Food Safety Certificate, along with a minimum level 5 cooking qualification. You will have proven experience with budgets and a strong understanding of catering for food allergies and intolerances. You will have the ability to multi-task as this is a sole charge position. You must be enthusiastic and engaged, and excited about the opportunity to interact with children.
