About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean kitchen that meets state food safety regulations
- Prepare meals aligned with dietary menus and client needs
- Label, date, and rotate food to ensure freshness and safety
- Track inventory and maintain a three-day food supply at all times
- Coordinate with staff for special events or occasions
- Participate in required training and ongoing learning opportunities
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least one (1) year experience in a related field, specifically working with persons with a developmental disability and/or mental illness, preferred
