This role may require to work an on-site schedule in the Greater Toronto area.</span></span></p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Prepare and maintain corporate records, board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and minute books to ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations.</li> <li>File incorporation documents, corporate registrations, and amendments with federal and provincial authorities.</li> <li>Assist with mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence and document preparation.</li> <li>Monitor and ensure timely filing of annual returns, corporate updates, and statutory documents with government agencies.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience of corporate or commercial law in Canada, corporate or commercial law experience, preferably in-house, with strong knowledge of corporate governance, incorporations, and statutory filings.</li> <li>Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation:</strong></h3> <p>The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $114,000-250,000 per year<strong> </strong>and for non-attorney roles is $64,000-201,000 per year.
