This role requires a deep understanding of the sustainability landscape, a strong network of industry contacts, and a proven track record of successful deal origination in RECs, carbon credits, biomethane. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Deal Origination</strong> <ul> <li>Identify and originate new business opportunities that align with ACT Group’s strategic goals and market focus.</li> <li>Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality deals across targeted markets.</li> <li>Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Client Relationship Management</strong> <ul> <li>Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive business development.</li> <li>Understand clients’ needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their objectives while aligning with ACT Group’s capabilities.</li> <li>Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the deal lifecycle, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Deal Structuring and Negotiation</strong> <ul> <li>Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex deals, ensuring they are commercially viable and strategically aligned with company goals.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, operations, and R&amp;D, to ensure seamless deal execution.</li> <li>Present and defend deal proposals to senior management and the Board, providing clear rationale and expected outcomes.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Market Intelligence and Strategy</strong> <ul> <li>Stay informed about market developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities that could impact the business.</li> <li>Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and industry trends.</li> <li>Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies and goals.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Cross-functional Collaboration</strong> <ul> <li>Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment of origination activities with overall business strategy and objectives.</li> <li>Help fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support the company’s growth and innovation efforts.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Reporting and Performance Tracking</strong> <ul> <li>Track and report on the performance of origination activities, including deal pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue generation.</li> <li>Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h2><strong>Your Expertise:&nbsp;</strong></h2> <p>To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.</li> <li>Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in deal origination, business development, or a related field, preferably within the sustainability or energy sector.</li> <li>Proven track record of successfully originating and closing high-value deals in RECs, carbon credits, biomethane.</li> <li>Strong network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of the sustainability sector landscape.</li> <li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.</li> <li>Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li> <li>High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.</li> </ul> <p>If you meet these criteria and are ready to contribute your expertise to a dynamic and challenging environment, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
