This role focuses on building trusted relationships with public‑sector stakeholders, understanding complex security environments, and delivering technology solutions that enhance safety, compliance, and operational efficiency within correctional settings.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage a sales pipeline for correctional facilities at the local, state, and federal levels</li> <li>Promote and sell correctional security technologies such as surveillance systems, access control, inmate monitoring, communications, body‑worn cameras, software platforms, and integrated security solutions</li> <li>Build strong, long‑term relationships with wardens, sheriffs, correctional administrators, IT leaders, procurement officials, and government decision‑makers</li> <li>Conduct on‑site and virtual product demonstrations tailored to correctional environments and security needs</li> <li>Understand client operational challenges, compliance requirements, and funding constraints to position appropriate solutions</li> <li>Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and bids in coordination with internal engineering, legal, and proposal teams</li> <li>Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, pricing, and contracts in alignment with government procurement standards</li> <li>Coordinate with implementation, support, and project management teams to ensure successful solution deployment and customer satisfaction</li> <li>Monitor industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies within corrections and public safety markets</li> <li>Meet or exceed assigned sales targets while maintaining ethical and compliant sales practices</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in B2B or public‑sector sales, preferably within corrections, public safety, security, or government technology</li> <li>Strong understanding of correctional operations, security protocols, or regulated environments</li> <li>Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills</li> <li>Ability to navigate complex, long sales cycles and government procurement processes</li> <li>Comfortable conducting customer meetings in secure and regulated facilities</li> <li>Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting</li> <li>Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience selling security systems, IT solutions, SaaS platforms, or integrated technology solutions</li> <li>Familiarity with correctional standards, compliance requirements, and public‑sector funding processes</li> <li>Background working with state and local government agencies</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or related field</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Consultative, solution‑based selling</li> <li>Strategic account management</li> <li>Public‑sector relationship development</li> <li>Technical aptitude and fast learning capability</li> <li>Professional discretion and integrity</li> <li>Self‑motivation and time management</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p> <p>This role requires a mix of remote work, travel, and on‑site visits to correctional and justice facilities.
