Job Summary
The Corrosion Engineer will support asset integrity and reliability programs by identifying corrosion risks, evaluating equipment condition, and implementing effective corrosion control strategies to ensure safe and reliable operation of assets in the Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor and assess corrosion risks affecting pipelines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Support asset integrity and reliability programs through corrosion analysis and inspection data evaluation.
Develop and implement corrosion monitoring and mitigation strategies.
Evaluate materials and recommend protective solutions to improve asset reliability.
Analyze inspection findings and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, integrity management procedures, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with inspection, maintenance, and engineering teams to maintain asset integrity.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in corrosion engineering within the Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.
Strong knowledge of asset integrity management and corrosion control practices.
Experience in corrosion monitoring, inspection data analysis, and reliability programs.
Good technical reporting and analytical skills.
