The position reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assisting with live Prevail depositions/sessions, which include:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Recording on Prevail platform</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Deposition Read on/Swearing in Witness</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Marking and maintaining Exhibits</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Monitoring and managing the session</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assisting any sessions with technical/administrative needs</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Current Court Reporting or Notary License for state&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Strong communication and interpersonal skills</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Previous experience with video conferencing/database platforms</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Excellent working knowledge of Google Workspaces/Slack/Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">A webcam, headset, and computer are needed as well for remote depositions!</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Compensation:<br></span></strong></p> <p>Appearance Fee: $50-75 per hour; Page Rate: TBD. <br>The range is based on several factors, including geographical location, level of experience, relevant skills, and knowledge.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Prevail Legal reserves the right to change this job description to meet the organization's business needs.</span></p> <div><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">We are hiring for US Citizens and do not provide H1B Visa support.</span></div> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><em>We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
