With customers across the US, UK &amp; Ireland, we currently hold offices in Phoenix, Virginia, Maryland, London, Dublin and Israel.</p> <p>At eScribers we value professionalism, innovative thinking, and collaboration and this is what guides us in all aspects of our day-to-day operations.</p> <p>Come be a part of our growth by joining our outstanding team of professionals!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><div>&nbsp;</div> <div> <p><strong>Court Reporter/Stenographer - Contractor position&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>eScribers is looking for <strong>stenographic</strong> court reporters.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>**CANDIDATES MUST HAVE TRAINING OR RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AS A STENO REPORTER TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION**</strong></p> <p>We are a nationwide court reporting and transcription company.&nbsp; We currently have a need for reporters to appear in-person for hearings in Buffalo, NY and surrounding areas.&nbsp; (Remote work is also available.)&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>General Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Must be able to provide NCRA, NVRA, NYSCRA Certification Credentials -OR-</strong>&nbsp;<strong>proof of successful completion of an accredited court reporting program&nbsp;</strong></li> <li>Be legally eligible to work in the United States</li> <li>High degree of professionalism</li> <li>Commit to meeting all deadlines</li> <li>Have a high-speed internet connection</li> <li>Reliable mode of transportation</li> <li>Have a current U.S. bank account to receive contract payments</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation and Onboarding:</strong></p> <p>You will be an independent contractor and will be compensated on a per-project/assignment basis.</p> <p>Compensation will include:</p> <ul> <li>Daily appearance fee</li> <li>Transcription fees</li> <li>Travel expenses reimbursed, if necessary</li> <li>Weekly pay via direct deposit</li> </ul> <p>Candidates selected for this position will be required to undergo an onboarding process that involves completion of required paperwork and familiarizing yourself with the workflow system you'll be using. &nbsp;Additional information about our onboarding process will be provided to candidates selected for this position.</p> <p>Since this is a contractor opportunity, the offered compensation is variable and will be based on the number of cases covered by the reporter.&nbsp;</p> <p>Priority for work is given to applicants who maintain excellent quality standards in the submission of their assignments.</p> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p>
