About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse consumer research, viewership data, and cultural trends to uncover actionable insights that inform breakthrough creative campaigns.
- Write sharp, inspiring, and clear creative briefs. Conduct briefing sessions that ignite the imagination of our copywriters, art directors, designers, and video producers.
- Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, Media, and Product teams to deeply understand business goals, target audiences, and go-to-market plans for various content releases and product launches.
- Act as a strategic sounding board for the creative team throughout the production process, ensuring the work remains true to the strategy and effectively solves the business problem.
- Construct compelling strategic narratives and confidently present campaign concepts and strategic frameworks to senior stakeholders and marketing leadership.
- Work with data and analytics teams to review campaign performance, extracting key learnings to optimise future creative strategies and asset delivery.
- Stay on the pulse of the global media, streaming, and sports broadcasting landscapes to ensure our creative output remains culturally relevant and ahead of the curve.
About your experience
- 7 + years of experience as a creative strategist, brand planner, or similar role within an advertising agency, internal creative studio, or media/entertainment company
- A strong passion for and understanding of the broadcast, SVOD and sports media landscapes.
- Proven ability to distil complex data points, market research, and audience segmentation into simple, powerful human truths.
- A strong track record of strategic work that has directly led to successful, high-profile, multi-channel creative campaigns (video, digital, social, and out-of-home)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building persuasive presentations that sell in big ideas
- Deep experience partnering with both analytical marketers and highly creative makers, knowing how to balance commercial realities with creative ambition.
- Ability to pivot quickly and manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced retail and entertainment environment.
- A strong track record of strategic work that has directly led to successful, high-profile, multi-channel creative campaigns (video, digital, social, and out-of-home).
